PristineExtra® 1 lb. is a 99% sodium di-chloro-s-triazinetrione hydrate, (55% Available Chlorine) shock that is used in the start up for PristineBlue®, or when a little extra oxidizer is needed for tough cloudy water. It dissipates rapidly, therefore rendering the water back to a non-chlorine status.
